As part of the capacity-building programme of the International Solar Alliance, the Pacific Centre for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency and the French National Institute for Solar Energy (INES) are hosting an online expertise programme on solar PV micro-grids dedicated to Pacific Islands.
The programme will start with Tonga micro-grid project holders on the 16th November 2021 and will take the participants throughout the week from the potential of solar in the Pacific Energy mix to components adapted to storms, wind, and salt, finishing with practical maintenance tips.
