CEA at INES keep improving Passivated contact solar cells with the platform developed by SEMCO Smartech for boron diffusion and LPCVD deposition of polysilicon on oxide.
Teams developed n-PERT cell precursors with iVoc above 725 mV and complete screen-printed solar cells. They have just reached an efficiency of 23.0% (M2 full area). CalTeC certified this result in August 2020.
CEA- INES and SEMCO Smartech will be presenting these promising performances during next EU-PVSEC in September 2020.
