  • From 07/04/2024 to 07/05/2024

SUBSCRIPTION CLOSED

The Special PV workshop aims to provide unclassified and international forum for the exchange of ideas and information on space photovoltaics, with a focus on radiation effects and emerging materials.
Addressed to researchers, industrials, academics and students, the workshop is split in four sections (see below) in which highly skilled experts of the field will present their latest research and industrial results.

The first edition of 2021, organised by INES-PFE & CEA-INES (with the support of two European projects, ECoVEM and Radhard), brought together 230 people from 34 countries.

Session topics

1-Challenges for the future
Topics: Demands of the new missions, Production limits to overcome, Advanced test methods
2-Radiation effects: Microscopic
Topics: Irradiation, Generation and characterization of point defects
3-Radiation effects: Macroscopic
Topics: Test methods, errors source, illumination and temperature impact
4-Emerging materials and architecture
Topics: Silicon for space, Tandem III-V (2J), Perovskite and other
