INES will be participating in the 3rd Forum on Vocational Excellence 2024, taking place from September 10-12 in Lyon, France. As part of this prestigious event, INES will host a booth within the “Energy Transition and Sustainable Cities Village,” where we’ll welcome a wide range of French and international players: companies and organisations involved in vocational training, industry players, as well as students and pupils.
At our booth, we'll highlight the critical role of vocational education and training (VET) in driving forward the photovoltaic industry and its applications. We aim also to raise awareness among students about the exciting opportunities in this sector, explain the industry’s challenges, and promote the importance of specialized training programs.
Join the forum to learn about the circular economy, explore how innovation can transform business models for a sustainable future, and discuss the growing need for skilled technicians in the photovoltaic industry. We’ll also address the importance of diversity and inclusion, particularly the role of women in this field, and tackle pressing environmental challenges like decarbonization and recycling.
INES is committed to meeting the skills challenges in the field of solar energy, but also in the microelectronics sector in general, alongside our partners in the ECOVEM project, notably GAIA (the Association of Applied Knowledge and Technology Industries in the Basque Country) and Sofia University of Technology. We look forward to meeting you at the Forum!
